OASIS Coaching resulted from Heidi's passion for the well-being of families, and God's call on her life to use her years of experience, unique gifting, and vast training to fill an important need.
The purpose of OASIS Coaching is to equip, empower, and encourage families and the professionals who work alongside the families.
In Heidi's important role as a Mom attempting to maintain sanity while living in the chaos of raising three little ones, she came to the realization that a frazzled parent naturally, and unintentionally, creates stress within the home. In contrast, a parent who feels equipped, empowered, and encouraged, feels more competent and less stressed, which is naturally carried over into the atmosphere of the home. Children whose little nervous systems generally experience a high level of stress, such as those with sensory challenges, benefit from the later. Coaching families is a vital, and often missed component of comprehensive care, especially for families who have a child with sensory challenges. This component is emphasized through OASIS Coaching.
